Happy Holidays 2021

Happy Holidays 2021.

All of us florist are expecting strong holiday sales this year and bracing for potential disruptions in the supply chain when it comes to flowers and supplies, due to covid-19.

Using Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, & Thanksgiving 2021 as a gauge, we expect sales for the winter holidays to be just as strong. We’ve placed larger orders for hard goods and flowers, having sales team pushing pre-orders, and are developing back up plans should supply problems arise. That way our clients have a pleasurable shopping experience.

The recently released "Ipsos" holiday spending report, cites a renewed interest in personalized gifts and predicts consumers will spend more money than they did last year. Consumers surveyed for the report also indicated that being able to order gifts online is a top consideration when deciding where to make purchases. With this info we have made sure to make our website and marketing a top priority. So, we can make shopping as easy as possible for our amazing clients.

Still, the ongoing unpredictability and delays in shipments from growers and suppliers of hard goods remains a significant obstacle facing our industry. We're prepared to pivot from one design to something different if a component is unavailable. We just work through it and roll with the punches. It's easier to make back up plans around hard goods shortages than with flower shortages. We hand create all our designs from scratch. Then we take stunning photos of the designs and then have to come up with a catchy name. We also take measurements and add that info to each design to make it user friendly. So with our site, you get what you actually see.

The flower growers can only grow flowers so fast, so we’re crossing our fingers that everything is going as planned. It can be scary some days, but there are always other options of flowers and containers. Just be patient with your local florist. As the availability, price of flowers, and containers have not gone down since the huge spike in May 2021. They only seem to be going higher and higher.

We appreciate all our amazing clients and support during these times. Please plan ahead as we'll be closed starting Dec 25th & reopen Monday, January 3rd, 2022. So our elves can rest up from the busy Holiday season. Have a great start to your 2022.
